Calman Trust. Leaving HOME in the Highlands

Most people who are suicidal do not want to die; they want the emotional pain they are feeling to stop.

If you are feeling suicidal do not try to cope with your feelings alone.  There are many people out there who can help you:

Talk to a family member, friend or workmate.  Speaking out and getting things off your chest can make a huge difference to how you feel.

Talk to an advisor.  If you don't feel confident enough to speak to someone you know, there are many confidential helplines you can call.

Talk to your doctor.  If you have been feeling really low for quite a while then you may be suffering from clinical depression.

To Jaimie,

I have done some research and the following may help.

If there are any doctors that you have seen before and you do like, it is your right to ask to see them specifically.

There are other organizations which may be able to help. If you wish to contact me, you can do so on 01463 248630 and I can point you in the right direction.

It might be worth having a look at www.lookokfeelcrap.org/ which might be of use.
