Sleeping

Lack of a good night's sleep can:

  • leave you feeling tired throughout the whole day
  • make you easily irritated
  • make you forgetful
  • leave you looking worn out

That is why it is important to try and take control of your sleeping pattern so that you can wake up fresh and make the most of your days!

 Tips On How To Get A Good Night's Sleep

      

 Try not to have a TV, computer or CD player etc in your room as all these distractions may stop you getting as much sleep as you should.

Exercising regularly can help you use up the excess energy that may keep you awake & restless in the middle of the night.

Try not to have any food or drink that has caffeine in it - like chocolate, coffee, fizzy drinks & tea - too close to your bedtime because caffeine can stay in you system for many hours after you've had it.

Try and get into a routine of going to sleep and waking up around the same time each day.

 

Some people find that aromatherapy helps them to sleep.  So, you could try some burning some scented candles in your bedroom before you go to bed...but don't forget to blow them out!!
