When you throw your rubbish in the bin it doesn't just disappear, it ends up in a landfill.  The amount of rubbish that we are each throwing away is putting a real strain on our environment.  If we each try to make just a little change to our treatment of disposable products then we can make a world of difference!  Here our some of the little things you can do.

When you are shopping, try choosing the products that have less packaging.

You can also make sure that you buy recycled products.

When writing make sure that you use both sides of the paper.

If you can, repair any broken appliances.

If you have any shoes or clothes that you no longer want, or that no longer fit you, give them to a charity that will make use of them.  Or else, you could even go to a car boot sale with them - good for the environment & you can make some extra cash from it!
