There are new rates for all workers, and there is now a set rate for apprentices.
Workers aged 21 and over - The rate is £5.93 per hour.
Workers aged 18-20 - The rate is £4.92 per hour.
Workers aged 16-17 - The rate is £3.64 per hour.
Apprentices: Minimum wage is £2.50 per hour; this applies to under 19’s and apprentices aged 19 and over but in their first year of their apprenticeship.
