Highland Libraries has come up with a new kind of membership.

If you are working with a tutor to help you with your reading, writing or number skills you will be able to borrow books, CDs and DVDs from the library without paying a charge. 

So, that means if you need a little extra time to finish a book you are reading with this card you can now keep it longer without the worry of a fine.  This membership will last for two years.

If you would like this new kind of membership get your tutor to fill out a form for the library to say that you'll be using the books to help you with your learning.
